Six months ago, my neighbor started a hobby of raising chickens. My cat Clarence is less than thrilled with them. In my opinion, chicken -watching is great entertainment!
After a longer than expected hiatus, I'm determined to get back to daily art posts. Unfortunately, life sometimes gets in the way of art. Not enough art makes me nervous. Making art is like a nice brain massage.

I'm so glad to see you back again! I've missed getting my art "fix".
I think my cat would lose her mind if she saw chickens. The birds are almost sensory overload for her.
Nice work. Glad you are back to drawing again.
I understand how things sometimes get in the way of letting us create the art we enjoy. Getting back in the swing of things is a little daunting ... but then things just feel right when you start up again.
I'm glad to see you drawing once more and look forward to more of your stuff. Always a pleasure!
Glad to see you back. Missed your drawings. Not drawing also makes me sick.
I'm so glad you're back, I too really missed my daily fix of your art. I really enjoy your style and admire your talent and generosity..
Love the image of Clarence by the way. I have a little dog and I don't think she would notice a chook if it stood in front of her!
Good to see your work again - glad you're back!!
Thank you all for the comments, they are great inspiration!
A small setback...Clarence, my cat died last week. I think he was kicked by a deer. It's one of the hazards of living out in the country. I'm working through the grief, then more art to come!
So sorry to hear that Clarence passed away. I lost my buddy Freddie last year. He was a fourteen year old Maine Coon and was, other than my wife and daughter, my best friend.
Very sad, sorry, it is painful.
So sorry about your beloved Clarence! May he RIP! {{Hugs}}
