Dallas Twestival

I was asked to create a web banner for the Dallas Twitter festival sponsoring the Women's Museum. As far as I know, the banner was never used. Oh well, it was fun to create anyway.

State Fair of Texas. The eccentric scarecrow and punk rock swan lady are stilt walkers, and the clowns are Shriners. It's best to view this with rink-a-dink-a-dink circus music in your head. I love this parade!

Fair Park, Dallas

Fair Park, Dallas. Finished in 1936 for the Texas Centennial Exhibition, this park has the largest collection of art deco buildings in the world. Along the Esplanade there are 6 statues of women representing the nations that once ruled Texas. Along one side are Texas, the Confederacy and Spain. This fountain is in front of The Women's Museum at Fair Park in Dallas. Fair Park has one of the largest collections of Art Deco buildings in world. In my opinion, it is one of the finest places to visit in Dallas. Fair Park hosts the State Fair of Texas, and it is open to the public year-round.
