Main Street
This time of year, recreational boating season is finished. Here in Buzzards Bay, there have been plenty of boats going up and down Main Street, heading to their winter storage places. As a boating enthusiast, it's always interesting to watch them parading around town.

salt marsh, Cape Cod

Just for fun last week, I randomly selected an address on my G.P.S. Such a gorgeous location! I love the islands of tall grasses, occasionally interrupted by deep blue tidal pools. On the horizon is the Atlantic Ocean. I really love the natural beauty of Cape Cod.

springtime in autumn

Along with a 2 year drought, this summer was the hottest on record in the Austin area. The landscape has been brown, dusty and dead for months. Now with cool weather and rain, everything is springtime green. In the next couple of weeks we'll have the first freeze and go back to brown and grey for the winter. I love changing seasons.
