This part of the world has a lush abundance of mushrooms, mosses and fungi. When the ground is wet with rain, I take photos of their showy appearances. This is a purple cort mushroom I found in the dappled sunlight of the woods. And yes, it is indeed poisonous.

world without end
Back in early September, my adopted mother passed away. This was the art I created just before, during and just after she died. It is an image of moving into the next realm, which flows seamlessly through time and space. Always spinning along in a unique, personal journey. I was so entranced in this world that I could not stop until it was finished. Some intense emotions they were.

A campfire's crackle, pop, hiss. Can you smell the bacon?

Main Street
This time of year, recreational boating season is finished. Here in Buzzards Bay, there have been plenty of boats going up and down Main Street, heading to their winter storage places. As a boating enthusiast, it's always interesting to watch them parading around town.

musical art
Seeing music with colors, shapes and patterns. This art was influenced by the Cuban orchestra musician and composer, Xavier Cugat. This represents about 100 hours of work, over three months' time. I loved working on it. 11"x14" watercolor
