snow study

I love the way architectural angles become softer, more organic with snow. For me, this snow is a new challenge in art. There are so many delicate nuances to convey. I am enjoying both the weather and the art challenge.

Lots of snow in New England, with more on the way this week. It's an entirely different world from the Texas Hill Country!

At 6:30 AM, the temperature was minus 6.9 fahrenheit in Peabody, Mass. I love it!

I started this drawing during a visit in November, and just finished last week. Now, during this current visit, New England is completely covered with snow.

This originated in a dream. Also, there were grasshoppers, calves and rabbits. It was fauna melting into flora.
