I had a day off while recently working in Salt Lake City. According to my pedometer, I walked twelve and a half miles that day. This is a house on North State Street, which is on a very steep incline. The grand state capital of Utah is at the top of the hill. I recommend the hike (or drive) to the top for the view of the city below.

Another beautiful sketch, Susan. Since I have been in the States this summer I have gotten out of the habit of daily walking. I'm looking forward to getting back into it. I've really been enjoying your posts lately, scenes of places you go, like this one in Utah. Enjoy your travels!
Thanks, Rob. I hope you're enjoying your stay back in the States this summer.
And, as we all know, walking is a great way to see things to sketch.
You are so right- we're heading back to Germany on Sunday, then over to Poland for a week- meetings, meetings, meetings... hope to have time to sketch over there. Have a great week.
