Mojave Desert storm

Somewhere near Needles, California. On the roadtrip from Texas to Las Vegas, this was the furthest point west before heading north through the desert. The scenery was strange, the sky was spectacular.

Another amazing drawing! I love the sky and the downpours coming through the clouds. Very powerful!

That storm knocked our power out for 4 hours. :( I love your drawing though. The beauty mother nature can behold is amazing.

I like how this one seems to show several different but subtle geometric elements within the desert landscape, like the roundness of the clouds and pebbles, the rectangular edges of the rock formations and the triangular spikings from the aloe vera leaves.
And I look forward to seeing the Vegas signs in color!
Caio! Or I guess I should say "Hasta la Vista" to be more in keeping with the theme running here. ;)

anti-ware...this must be an amazing environment to live in!

javajem...it doesn't show here, but the sky had a luminescent quality to it that reflected onto the mountains. It was beautiful.

Valerie...everything did indeed have it's own unique shapes and patterns.

Thanks all for the comments!
