This reminds me of a dream I've had since I was little about trying to get into a city on some kind of concrete street-thing.

If I could draw like you, I'd draw this scene: it's almost dawn, and we're looking down on a neighborhood. The streets are gently serpentine, and the lawns are black-green with glints of morning dew and maybe a few ominious jaggedy grass tufts casting little shadows. There are a few street lamps glowing yellow. It's a suburban neighborhood, and if the picture had sound, it would be of lonely wind chimes. The roofs of many the houses are missing, so we can see into each one. We look into bedrooms and see people sleeping soundly, curled up together, alone, wide awake and worrying, just getting up, looking out their bedroom windows, etc etc etc.

Wow, what a great, vivid dream! Wonder what it means? I love the idea of the roofless house as a visual. Sort of like a human habitrail.
